Who We Are
For over two decades, the Association of Persons with Disabilities (APD) has been committed to uplifting individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Established in the year 2000 and officially registered on 11th August 2022 (Reg. No. 14503), APD has worked tirelessly at the grassroots level to bring dignity, inclusion, and empowerment to some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in society.
Over the past 24+ years, we have strived to create a world where every individual, regardless of ability, has equal access to opportunities, resources, and support systems necessary to lead a fulfilling life. Our programs are designed not with charity, but with compassion and collaboration — ensuring people with disabilities are seen, heard, and valued.
Our work spans across healthcare, inclusive education, rehabilitation, social integration, vocational training, skill development, awareness campaigns, and advocacy for disability rights. We collaborate with passionate individuals, like-minded organizations, CSR partners, and community leaders to extend our reach and impact.
Rooted in values of dignity, hope, and resilience, APD is not just a support system — it’s a movement toward inclusive growth, social justice, and empowerment. Together, we aim to build a society that celebrates diversity and unlocks the potential in every person, regardless of their challenges.
Close to our Hearts
We work to uplift communities through inclusive opportunities, essential resources, and holistic support — building resilient futures for all.
